I always visit special locations in advance and find the best spots for the first look and couple shoot according to the season and weather conditions. That way everything runs smoothly and stress-free on your wedding day – you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Summer and early autumn (July to September) are particularly popular – the lakes shimmer, the mountain meadows bloom and the light is warm and intense. Winter weddings in one of the world’s most famous ski regions have their own unforgettable magic. Spring offers awakening nature and a peaceful stillness.

Weather uncertainty is part of mountain life – but it’s no reason to panic. As an experienced wedding photographer in Graubünden, I know the typical weather patterns of the region and always plan a backup. Mist, clouds or even rain can give photos a dramatic and unique atmosphere all of their own. I make sure we get beautiful images whatever the conditions.

Lake Davos and the remote Sertig valley are among my absolute favourites – peaceful, unspoilt and far from the bustle. Those looking for something more dramatic will find impressive panoramas on the Jakobshorn or Parsenn. Klosters village offers charming alpine settings for atmospheric portraits.
