I always visit special locations in advance and find the best spots for the first look and couple shoot according to the season and weather conditions. That way everything runs smoothly and stress-free on your wedding day – you don’t have to worry about a thing.

A Wedding Report from Flims Laax
Winter Magic Above the Sea of Clouds – the Wedding of J&F
The couple celebrated in the Weisse Arena ski resort, at the mountain restaurant Ustria Startgels – a venue accessible in winter only by gondola, which gives the day its own special, unforgettable atmosphere from the very start.
In the afternoon we made the most of the last hours of sunlight for the first look and couple shoot right beside the venue. The mountain scenery, the vast snowy landscape and the breathtaking backlight of the low winter sun give this shoot an atmosphere that simply cannot be staged.
At 6pm the wedding party gathered at the valley station in Flims and rode up together by gondola. On the terrace of Ustria Startgels there was a welcome aperitif, followed by a festive wedding dinner in the cosy mountain hut. After the cake was cut, everyone hit the dance floor and celebrated until 1:30am, when the last gondola brought the guests back down into the valley – with a view over the sea of clouds lying over Flims below.
